This is because of the individual's ability to use and shift around pronouns, depending on the situation. This also brings up a problem that is very c ommon for writers to run into when using pronouns.One time I wrote a paper for a writer and at the end of the paper I gave out a hint about what had happened before the conclusion. Afterward the writer emailed me to ask if I thought the same things had happened before he or she had written the paper.This situation occurred during a conversation between two friends and the scenario was only a sample cause and effect essay. This means that the situation does not have any effects beyond that situation. However, one has to be careful that they do not use the words and or it to describe what exactly did happen. This is because one may use it in a sentence that makes it sound like something really had happened in the past.While the ability to change pronouns is common and much utilized in the academic environment to try and make a student think about a certain event, it is still important that writers do not use it as a crutch to write a cause and effect essay. In fact, using this in conj unction with other pronouns such as he, him, his, himself, his, and himself can be quite troublesome.Another thing to be careful of is to try and tell a story or create a situation where the cause had been long known about that would influence action. However, this would only show that the story is incomplete because the cause would have already been known.Therefore, the goal of the cause and effect essay is to make it as real as possible and bring all of the information together. This can be done through using all of the common pronouns and their appropriate relationships to other pronouns.
